The future of Mirabel

Restoring lost features and renewing the estate

As well as the gentle restoration of the house and its grounds, we hope to bring several historic elements back to life over time, honouring what has been lost while shaping the next chapter of Mirabel with care.

  • Create a new potager to supply the house and guests with fruit, vegetables and cut flowers.
  • Restore the fountain and Lavoir area.
  • Reinstate the lost stream and 19th century stone bridge.
  • Create gentle walking trails through the grounds for guests.
  • Reinstate the original orangery.
  • Renew the courtyard and recreate the fountain.
  • Recreate the Buxus maze and sundial area.
  • Revive the tradition of beekeeping at Mirabel.
